Men's Group

What problems do men face today?

What is the purpose of our men’s group?

What can the men’s group do for you?

These are just a couple of questions that we will wrestle with at the next Men’s Group on January 5^th.

And let’s not forget about the delicious meal prepared by Dot Madell that will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Faith Promises

Continue to arrive raising our total to 87 promises received totaling $99,807.20.

This is an increase of 24 promises and $33,217.20 from last year.

Teach Us To Pray

This exciting study on the Lord’s Prayer will continue on Wednesday at 1pm in the Confirmation Room.

The focus of these last 3 chapters is Enjoying the Master’s Prayer Life

Jan. 7^th – Chapter 10 Receiving the

Jan. 14th – Chapter 11 Cupping Our Hands

Jan. 28th – Chapter 12 Enjoying the Upper Room

A Purpose Driven Life

Are you living your life on purpose or with a purpose? Do you feel as though your life is adrift?

Beginning Tuesday evening Jan. 6^that 7 pm a group is gathering to discuss, Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life.

The focus of the book is to wrestle with the question, What on earth am I here for?

We will meet in the choir room for 90 minutes starting at 7 p.m.

You can obtain a copy of the book from Pastor Rich. The cost is $12.

The best seller written by Max Lucado in conjunction with Biblical stories will be the resource for our Wednesday afternoon study group.

Pick up your copy today and plan to join the discussion that will start Wednesday, February 4^that 1 pm.

Pastor has purchased 12 copies of the book from Sam’s Club. The cost is $12.00.

Consistory Retreat

JANUARY 10th

Social Hall 9 am – 4 pm

The consistory will meet to discuss proposals concerning new initiatives, programs and changes in by-laws with the desire to bring them to the congregation at the next congregational meeting on March 7th.

Christmas Gift Cards

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

$ 270.00 was collected in cash, 14 gift cards and certificates equaling $65.00. Dawn Ramsen purchased Shoprite gift certificates with the money and they were given to Amandla’s Crossing for distribution to each resident. The gift cards were given to St. Vincent De Paul’s Society for incorporation into the holiday basket being distributed to local families.
