Homebound

We have a number of elderly who have been faithful members of our family for years. Unfortunately because of health problems they are unable to be actively involved. They are servants who are now in need of being served.

Please contact the church office to offer your help.

Becoming a Man of Prayer

After spending time with Jesus, the disciples had observed His consistent, honest prayers to the Father. Wanting to experience the same kind of meaningful prayer, the disciples asked, “Lord, teach us to pray.”

If you long to be a man of prayer, but aren’t sure how or where to start you are invited to join Pastor in a study of the book, Becoming a Man of Prayer.

Tentative plans are to start the study Monday, February 6 at 7:30pm and meet every other Monday night for 8 classes.

The cost of the book is $10.

Speak to Pastor if you are interested.

Communion Offering

January’s communion offering will be given to Haven Hospice. This organization provides medical, emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and families who are experiencing the final stages of terminal illness.

FYI: Haven Hospice is the hospice that Jacqueline Rotteveel works for.

COMMUNION CARDS

Will no longer be enclosed with your envelopes. Communion cards will be distributed at worship on communion Sundays and enclosed in each month’s Tidings. They will have a new look! All family members can use one card.

Spaghetti Dinner

FEBRUARY 4TH

The Sr. Youth Group invites you to attend our All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner to benefit our mission trip to South Dakota. Adults $7.00 Children under 12 $3.00

Women's Guild

The blessing was given by Ruth Karren before all enjoyed the most delicious, variety and palatable Pot Luck Supper on Wednesday, December 14th.

Business meeting was conducted by President, Donna Young who first welcomed two new members, Bonnie Theurich and Kathy Garvey.

Donna’s devotion was the Christmas Story as told in the Scriptures. She followed this with Christmas Trivia for all to get their brain cells working.
