Martha Circle

The Martha Circle met on Monday evening, December 19th in the Social Hall with the leader, Ruth Karren presiding.   Phyllis Anderson opened devotions reading the birth of Jesus from the Bible along with several other beautiful Christmas poems.  With great ingenuity and Christmas spirit, Ruth had all members of the group participate in a Christmas reading.  This resulted in a lot of good memories and family traditions.  (We even had special background music and burning of a unique candle!!!)   
 
A special offering was taken and $100.00 will be sent to the Needy Cases Fund from our Circle.  Guild President, Donna Young, brought to our attention all Guild activities.   There will be no Guild or Circle meetings in January.   The Ingathering letter will be sent out the last week in January.
 
Next Circle meeting will be held on February 20th at 7:30 in the Social Hall -- Marjorie Conger will have devotions and Doris Weber will provide refreshments.
 
We wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with good health, peace and love.
