Communion Offering

December’s communion offering will be given to Amigos de Honduras, Inc., a non-denominational Christian organization that ministers to the lost and poor people of Honduras. Amigos’ mission is to see people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ and experience the love of His heavenly father. (For more information about Amigos you may visit website at www.amigosdehonduras.com)

Our former student minister, Emilia Florio has partnered with this ministry. She makes annual trips there.

Music at St. Paul’s

Adult Choir - Thanks to the adult choir to their leadership since September, particularly for their presentation of the Christmas cantata on Dec. 24th

We are blessed by their hard work and faithfulness.  New members are still welcome!  We rehearse on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9 pm, and youth and adults of any voice part are encouraged to participate.

NEW Children's Choir - Our children's choir has been meeting after Sunday School in preparation for the Christmas pageant.  Many thanks to the kids and parents who participated; we learned a LOT of words and music!

We'll continue rehearsing in January with the goal of singing about once a month in worship.  We rehearse from 11:30 to noon in the chapel every Sunday, beginning on January 14th.  Our first anthem, scheduled for worship on Feb. 11th, will include sign language taught by Mrs. Cheeseman.
Please contact Emily with any questions.

Praise Team - The praise team rehearses on Sunday

mornings at 8:00 am.  New instrumentalists are welcome!

Special music -  Do you play an instrument?  Love to sing, but can't join the choir?  Consider offering your gift in worship as special music.  Emily would be happy to provide ideas and /or help in preparation.

Dear Pastor Rich,

Thank you for all the special care you give to Mom & Dad, especially as their mobility becomes more difficult. Your deep faith in God, and the same faith from the congregation, is clearly alive in your love. I hope this gift can help in the life of the church.

Yours in Christ,
Lynn Junker Simms

Dear Rev. Weyer,

Yesterday afternoon was a very happy day with the visit of the people from the church, especially the kids. They sang Christmas carols and brought a tray of fruit and cookies, a beautiful poinsettia and a card. Of course nice smiles to make the day brighter. We enjoyed their visit and wish to thank them for sharing their weekend. I’m feeling better now and hope soon to get out and about. Thank you for being patient with me.

Sincerely,
Dot Juronics

Dear St. Paul's,

THANK YOU! from the Women’s Guild to all those members who donated items for nursing home residents. Sixty packages were delivered during the Christmas season. And….special thanks to the women who came out on a rainy, dreary day to assemble these packages. We all enjoyed our fellowship together.
