HIGHLIGHTS OF REGULAR MONTHLY
CONSISTORY MEETING
December 14, 2006

Motion to approve November 16 Consistory Minutes and November 19 Congregational Minutes passed.

Motion to approve November financials passed.

Correspondence:

Request from Rev. Emilia Florio to support Amigos de Honduras. Motion passed to use January Communion offering towards mission trip to Honduras.
Request from Jessica Corrente for sponsorship at People to People World Leadership Forum. Motion passed to give $100 to Jessica for this Forum, money to come from Scholarship Fund.
Request for letters of Transfer for Frank & Vera Baier, daughter Kathy Slattery and Janet Vitanza. Motion passed.

Finance and Administration:

Stewardship Campaign update, 57 promises were received.
Church and Family:
Team 3 will prepare communion for January 7th.
Mike Keiser called shut-ins for Christmas Caroling, scheduled for Sunday.
Milltown Teacher’s Luncheon is scheduled for February 16th. Elana will chair committee.

Education:

Christmas pageant will be this Sunday.
Junior Youth Group will have a Lock in on January 5.
Senior Youth Group will have several fundraisers during 2007: including Miniature Golf, Car Washes, etc.
Confirmation Class will change meeting time to Sunday, 8:45 am.

Property & Grounds:

Insurance Adjuster inspected damage to Education Building Portico overhang, waiting for Scott Imhoff’s estimate.
Projects for 2007 include: updating electricity in Education Building for air conditioning and water seeping in Education Building in the Spring.

Old Business:

2007 projects will include Welcome Wagon and Phone Ministry

New Business:

Motion passed to purchase 4 new computers for Sunday School. Money to come from Elaine Dittman Memorial Fund.

Next Meetings:

Consistory Meetings –January 11, February 16.
Consistory Retreat scheduled for January 27.
