Money
is a Good
Servant,
but a Bad
Master

Money sends many different messages:
"Hold me and I will dry up
the foundations
of benevolence in your soul."
"Hoard me, and I will destroy
your sympathy
for others and your love for God."
"Spend for self-indulgences
and I will make your soul
indifferent to anything other than your own pleasure."
"Give me away for the benefit
of others and I will
return in the form of spiritual renewal to you."
Money speaks in different ways to
different people.
It’s the listener who determines which message
is most persuasive.
