Year End Balance

The church started December being $16,410 in the red.
With
gratitude to everyone who recognized the
financial difficulties the church was in AND
responded with monetary gifts,
the church ended the year with a deficit of $1,141.

Your financial support for the ministry
which St. Paul’s does is greatly appreciated.
Without your tithes and/or offering
the Word of God would not be preached,
the Word of God would not be taught,
the Word of God would not be conveyed
through acts of compassion, relief, and service.

The Communion Offering

Two questions have recently been asked
concerning the communion offering envelope.

Does the offering pay for the bread and grape juice?

Why do you have to pay for communion?

The communion offering is not designated for any
particular ministry or program.  It is put into the
current fund to finance the ministry of St. Paul’s.
The envelope is there for those individuals who wish
to give a special offering to God for Jesus’ sacrifice.
It should not be given because one feels you have to
pay for communion or that sacrifice.

It should be like all offerings,
an expression of love and gratitude to God.

Congratulations

to Heidi Bukevicz & Ross Young
