J r. Youth Group
The Junior Youth Group visited the Parker Home on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick on February 10. We sang some upbeat Christian songs which brought a smile to many of the residents, as well as even a bit of feet tapping. We greeted them with Valentines the youths had made and ended with The Lord’s Prayer. However, they didn’t want us to go, so we sang a Christmas song!! On February 24, the youths hosted a Bake Sale during Coffee Hour and had a short meeting. Tentative March meeting dates are: Sunday, March 3, and Sunday, March 17. In the Autumn of Your Life
This exciting one-day retreat for anyone in the autumn years of their life is a joint venture of the Interfaith Network of Care and St. Paul’s. The purpose is to help you realize your potential as a senior citizen. The date is March 18th. The time is 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The place is The Cenacle on River Road in Highland Park. There will be a charge of $25. |
