SUNDAY NIGHT MEETINGS ARE THE 4th & THE 18th AT 7:00 PM

The theme for April 4th is ALCOHOL USE / ABUSE.

According to a recent survey: Alcohol is the #1 drug used and abused by today’s teenagers, and drinking and driving is their #1 killer;

30% of kids take their first drink between ages 9 & 12;

3 million 13 – 17 year olds in America have serious alcohol problems.

The theme for April 18th is YOUTH VIOLENCE.  Columnist Wm Raspberry writes: “Kids casual acceptance of violence…is turning them into a generation of animals.”

Port Huron or Bust

The youth mission trip for Port Huron is June 26 – July 2. We will partner with urban ministries and programs that seek to address the very basic needs of Port Huron residents.

All participants need to meet with Pastor Rich on Sunday, April 18th at 6:30 pm (prior to the youth group meeting)

Yeah God!

A GREAT BIG YEAH GOD needs to be said for the Sunday school youth who lead worship on the Lord’s Prayer through liturgical dance, scripture and a contemporary version of the prayer. It was AWESOME!

Communion Offering

For April will be given to

Church World Service Tools of Hope

Program. This program makes a difference in the lives of children and families world over. This program provides: emergency shelter items in the wake of disaster; tools for refugees returning home to rebuild and seeds to replant fields; families living in drought-plagued areas are helped to dig wells for clean, safe drinking water, and for water to irrigate crops and gardens.

Give in Proportion

Proportionate participation in the work of God involves much more than money. Whatever God has given you, in whatever measure, is to be dedicated to him. Your talents, your abilities, your material wealth, your time – all are resources from which you can give.
