Dear Pastor Weyer,

This is to thank you and the church community for the wonderful luncheon provided for the faculty and staff of the Milltown School District. All enjoyed the delicious luncheon and we appreciated your generosity and hospitality by providing the staff with numerous gifts.

Thank you once again!

Music at St. Paul’s

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is small but off to a great start; the singers are working hard and learning fast.

On Palm Sunday, April 1st, the Children’s Choir, Youth, and Adult choir will join forces to sing a joint anthem.

New singers are dearly sought! We rehearse in the chapel on Sundays, from 11:30noon.

Adult Choir

The adult choir rehearses on Thursdays from 7:30-9 pm. Much of our time is now spent in preparation for an Easter cantata: My Redeemer Lives, by Mark Hayes, which we will sing this on the first Sunday after Easter, April 15th, in worship.

In addition, our choir will sing at all of our Holy Week services: Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and both Easter morning services.

Praise Team

On Sunday, March 18th, the Praise Team worked with the youth of St. Paul’s to lead our Youth Sunday worship. We thank God for Steve Kircher, Jeff Roberts, and Bill Sprauer, and all the extra time they gave towards the service. Give thanks also for the youth, who selected and helped lead the morning’s songs.

Instrumentalists rehearse at 8 am on Sunday mornings, and new players are always welcome.

Worship Field Trip

Youth and parents: stay tuned for details about an April 29th field trip to NYC! St. Thomas, in Manhattan, is home to one of the finest choral programs in the country, and their Sunday afternoon evensong service is a totally different worship experience. More information will be coming soon.
