Zechariah

Do you fear the future?

Do you wonder what evil lurks in tomorrow?

The message of Zechariah gives hope to God’s people
for the future.  There is much for us to learn from Zechariah
for our living today and tomorrow.

Join the discussion,
Wednesday morning, May 3 at 10 a.m.
in the confirmation room.

VBS

I guarantee you that there will be many excited children.

Please consider volunteering to help teach.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phase 1 of our Restoration Work IS done.

T
HANK YOU!!!!!!!

YOU made it happen.

As a matter of fact your generosity
exceeded our
$283,000 goal, by $73,000.

YOU have enabled us to begin Phase 2.

Shortly you will be receiving a mailing
showing all the work we have completed
and all the work which still needs to be done.

YOUR help is needed to ensure
that
Phase 2 will be as successful as Phase 1.

P
hase 2

The scope of work to be completed in Phase 2 of our restoration work is just as extensive and requires the same kind of commitment as Phase 1

The first three projects which are in the process of being done are:

Restoring towers over Education Building entranceways;

Installing a new roof; and

Installing new copper gutters and flashing.

When removing the existing roof we encountered our first snag in all the restoration work done to this point.  The roofing surface was in very bad condition and had to be replaced before putting the new shingles down.  This snag is a costly one, an additional $26,000 to be exact.

This $26,000 is needed by June 30.  Whatever you can do to help us raise the money will be greatly appreciated.

Have YOU Ever Considered...

serving on consistory?

Each year the nomination committee seeks individuals from
our congregation to serve a two year term as either an Elder
or a Deacon.  At the end of this year there will be a need to
fill at least two vacancies, one Elder and one Deacon.

If you would be interested in serving the church in either
of these offices, please speak to a member of the
nomination committee.

They are: Grace Kothari, Gloria Bradford, & Ken Junker.

Summer Sunday School

The dates are June 11 thru August 27.

YOU can HELP by offering to TEACH one Sunday.

Contact the church office to sign up today.

Giant Raffle

Once again, with gratitude to Anna Nikola,
we have a pair of Giant Season tickets to raffle.
ALL proceeds benefit the Restoration Fund.
You can help by buying or selling tickets.

The drawing will be August 6th.
