Prayer

If your request is wrong, God says, “No"

If the timing is wrong, God says, “No”

If you are wrong, God says, “Grow”

But if the request is right, the timing
right and you are right, God says, “Go”

Every Thursday morning members of the
church gather in thirty minutes of prayer.

YOU are invited to unite your heart and
voice in prayer any
Thursday at 9:30 am.

Sunday School Children,

Thank you so much for the “great” basket for Easter.  It was so greatly appreciated - so nice to be thought of.  Thank you again!

As Ever,

Dear Children, What a wonderful surprise it was to receive the goodies and the beautiful Easter card one of you made! It gave me such joy to know that you thought of me.
May God bless all of you and your teachers who are helping to teach you about Jesus and His love.
Thank you.

Love,
Emma Varga

Dear Children of St. Paul, Thank you for the lovely Easter basket filled with all the goodies. It was so nice to be thought of at Easter.
Pastor Rich, I want to thank you for your visit and for giving me communion.

Fondly,

To all members of St. Paul’s Sunday School, the children, teachers and anyone who put together such a lovely Easter basket, I extend my thanks.  This is the first time I have ever had a basket delivered to my door and all the items in it were so nicely purchased and arranged and I am still enjoying it all.
Thank you for a very special gift!

I extend many, many thanks to all those members of St. Paul’s who, during my recent illness, forwarded so many prayers and good wishes to me.  Thank you for your visits, your most welcome get-well cards and the many telephone calls.
Special thanks too, to Pastor Rich and those persons who took their time to drive me to the hospital, the X-ray offices and the doctor’s office. Also, I am very grateful to those who did grocery shopping and other errands for me.  God’s blessing to one and all.

Jesus Said

.

“I have set an example that you should do.”

The example Jesus set was one of servanthood.  He washed His disciples’ feet and said we should do likewise.  He said, “I have not come to be served but to serve.”  You can follow Jesus’ example by volunteering with:

St. Paul's
call 828-0020

to volunteer to usher, to deliver flowers to the homebound and sick, to help with the Chinese Auction, to help with Vacation Bible School, to offer your gifts your talents;

Interfaith Network of Care - call 247-1655 to volunteer to provide transportation, do grocery shopping or visit with an elderly or medically disabled person.

St. Peter’s Hospital - call 745-8573 to volunteer to greet or escort patients, deliver newspapers, staff the operating waiting room, or circulate the hostess cart.
