Are You Generous?

Most individuals would consider themselves to be generous. Generosity is more than putting money in the offering plate.

Generosity is measured in two ways:

Attitude – God desires the giver to be cheerful

Productivity – Is your giving a worthy investment of God’s resources.

If your motive isn’t God centered, the amount of money you give is irrelevant. If your giving doesn’t make a difference in someone’s life, what is the purpose?

“Tell them to use their money to do good they should be rich in good works and should give generously to those in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given them.” 1Timothy 6:18

May God lead your decision
as to where and how you give.

Why Pray?

Do you know why God wants us to pray? The answer is plain and simple. IT WORKS! When you talk to God in prayer, don’t be afraid to tell God everything that is on your heart and mind. Include the small concerns with the big concerns.

God said, “I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking to me about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” Isaiah 65.24
