T he Bible is Worthless…
If the Bible has no affect on a person it is not the fault of the Bible, but the person who has neglected to read it. A Bible that serves as a decoration in your bookcase, a paper weight or a dust collector on your end table will be ineffective. You would not think of leaving unopened mail in your mail box or ignore an email from someone you know and love. So don’t neglect God’s personal message. What He has to say will change your life, ONLY if you read it. “Your Word is a lamp for my feetand a light for my path.” Psalm 119.105 adapted from Keeping God in the Small Stuff |

A re You Blessed By St. Paul’s?
One of my most cherished blessings is the opportunity St. Paul’s has given me to grow in my knowledge and love of God. Sharing this love with the many friends I have made over the years has truly enriched my life. The most rewarding part of being an active member of St. Paul’s has been my involvement with the children in bible school and Sunday school. Their many hugs and smiles make my life a joy. God has been good to me and my family and I bless Him for the many gifts we have received. Florence Torok |

Thank you all, for providing your time and talent to a ministry so worth the trip. St. Paul’s next visit will be Sunday, June 8, led by the Sr. Youth Group. We meet in the church parking lot at 1:30. M artha Circle
The Martha Circle held their meeting on Monday evening, April 21st in the Church Choir Room with the leader, Ruth Karren, presiding. Marjorie Conger opened devotions with a prayer and a poem, then read a story about the disciple, John, and his relationship with Jesus. The following are reminders for the women: Bake cake for Men’s Roast Beef Dinner on May 10th, next Guild meeting will be a pot luck luncheon on May 14th at 12:00 noon and support Sarah Circle bake sale on May 18th (after church) by baking an item or two. A date will be set to straighten out drawers and cabinets in the kitchen – probably later part of May or first part of June. We concluded our meeting with a very interesting visual tour of our church sanctuary with Ruth explaining the many church symbols in St. Paul’s. This was a good learning experience and a good refresher course. We all agreed that St. Paul’s is indeed a beautiful church. Next meeting will be held on May 19th at 7:30 p.m. in the Social Hall. Devotions by Hazel Ecker and refreshments by Flo Torok. Attendance has been good at our meetings, but since this will be our last meeting before the summer recess, let’s make it 100%!!! Marjorie Conger, |
