Refiner’s Fire

Have you picked up your copy?

It's in the narthex of the church.

The cost is $10.

Refiner’s Fire is an excellent book about two brothers who were separated in a concentration camp, because their mother sold one of them so they could survive.  Now thirty-five years later their very different lives intersect.  You will want to read this gripping story of persecution, danger and renewed faith.

A discussion about the book will take place on June 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the confirmation room.

Letters….

Hello, All!

I am actually in South Africa! I can’t believe it!!! I arrived safe and sound, just a little weary from 24 hours of traveling.

I am staying with a lovely widow woman temporarily until my cottage is ready, then I will have my own place next door to the church.  The church is beautiful and the staff has received me very enthusiastically.  I am just in time for the church’s 80th anniversary celebration.  One of the fundraisers is a WINE AUCTION!!  You know I’m there!

Please keep me in prayer and send me an e-note.   RLEMEZIS@ATT.NET   I will be checking only periodically because I don’t know if they will put a computer in my office. I am on the pastor’s computer now.

Well, bye for now.

Blessings and Love,

Rhonda

Dear Pastor Rich,

Thank you and the people of St. Paul’s for your prayers and good wishes during my recent hospitalization.

All of the prayers and thoughts played a major role on my “fast track” to recovery and each day brings improvement.

Both Al and I send our prayers and best wishes to all of you.

Dear Children of St. Paul’s Sunday School,

Thank you so very much for the “basket full” of delicious Easter candies. You sure put the “Happy” in Happy Easter. One is always glad to receive surprises and your Easter basket was an unexpected gift. God works in mysterious ways and your kindness and thoughtfulness shows you are extending God’s love to others.

Thank you again for your generous gift and may each one of you have a happy and blessed Easter.

God Bless You,

Frank M. Regnault

Dear Members,

Thank you all who either donated or thought of me with calls and cards. Their sympathy meant so much to me in my sorrow.

I also thank everyone who visited John and came to his funeral.

Thanks also to Pastor Rich and Rhonda, their messages to us were very compassionate and sincere and thank you again.

Sincerely,

his wife, Ann (Betzler)
