300 Club

300 tickets will be sold. As of May 19, 128 tickets remain to be sold.
12 Weekly drawings for prizes of $75, $50, $25 & $10 will begin June 15th. The thirteenth drawing which will be on September 8th will be for prizes of $500, $250, $150, and  $100.
You have a chance to win with every drawing because when your number is picked it will be recorded and put back into the pool of 300 numbers.
Purchase your number today at the church office or during coffee hour.  Purchase a number for your Dad, or your graduate, they make a great gift idea.  All proceeds benefit the Restoration Fund

Red, White & Blue

Thank you for donations of American flags. We received one from Troy Posnansky in loving memory of his grandfathers, William E. Stout and Barry S. Posnasky, then a spare from Dorothy Ryan in memory of Owen Ryan.

Man in the Mirror

Every morning you wake up and see yourself in the mirror. Do you like what you see? I am not talking about the graying beard, or the receding hairline.
What do you see?
A man who is contented or discontented? A man walking on water or struggling to stay afloat?
June 3rd YOU are invited to attend a dinner when we will celebrate and affirm manhood and fatherhood.  Each person in attendance will receive a copy of the best selling book, The Man in the Mirror.

Confirmation

By a vote of consistory, confirmation will be a 2-year program for youth in the 9th and 10th grade.

The 9th grade class will focus on the disciplines of worship, prayer, Bible study and service.  Mentors will disciple the youth in these disciplines.

The 10th grade class will focus on what one believes. Pastor Rich will disciple the youth in their beliefs.

Double Your Penny

You know what an apple a day will do for you.
You know what Doublemint gum will do for you.
Do you know what doubling a penny every Sunday for 11 weeks will do for your church?
It will generate $12,731.87 of additional income.
This is How it works.
On June 23rd the first Sunday of the Summer put one penny in a zip-lock bag.  On the next Sunday, June 30th double that, which means you would put 2 pennies in the bag.  On Sunday, July 7 you would double your previous Sunday’s amount, which means you would put 4 pennies in the bag.
The goal is that you will double your previous Sunday’s offering of pennies through Labor Day Sunday.  On Sunday, September 8th you would bring your bag of 2,047 pennies to the church picnic.  If all 621 members double their pennies for the summer, it will generate $12,731.87.

If this is true then I guess it can be said that supporting the church with your money helps you get purified.

Through April 30 our income is $4,241.57 less than our expenses.
