Martha Circle

The Martha Circle met on Monday evening, May 15, 2006, in the Social Hall with the Guild President, Donna Young, presiding. Interesting and inspirational devotions were read by Phyllis Anderson.

We will not be having any more meetings until September 18th, nor will there be any more Guild meetings until September 13th. We were reminded that the Guild is responsible for the worship service at Parker Home on Sunday, August 13th.

We wish everyone a happy and relaxing summer.

Marjorie Conger,
Secretary

Hospitality Ministry

The Friday Night Small Group is organizing a ministry that will reach out to those members of our church family who have not been able to worship with us lately due to illness. If you would like to participate by “adopting” one of our homebound members, please contact Elana Kircher at 732-296-1516

Letters......

.

Dear Pastor Rich, Women’s Guild, And the Carolers,

I’m sorry I didn’t get this letter written sooner, I do want to thank everyone who was involved with the Christmas program, the singing was wonderful and it sure made me feel like the holidays had arrived. The flowers you gave me were beautiful and the fruit from the Guild was delicious.

Now Easter is here and I had more surprises! Saturday Linda Jones and her daughter came to visit me and they brought me a few gifts they had made. One of the gifts she made I framed and put it in my “room of memories”.

My next surprise was when we got home there were two beautiful Easter Lilies on my steps that certainly made my day. There was a card that said the plants had come from the church altar and that made it more special.

This year the Lord was very good to me, so many friends have called to talk with me that makes me feel good.

Prayerfully Yours,
Rose Eichert
