Communion Offering

July’s offering will benefit FDCARES a project, initiated by Rebecca Petry, to provide teddy bears for children grieving or distressed.

The following is taken from an article that appeared in the Homes News on June 6.

“When Rebecca Petry lost her grandfather five years ago, the Milltown girl got a little help from a fire fighter. Rebecca, then 10, was handed a teddy bear…The bear meant a lot, she said. His death had left her shaken…Now Rebecca has returned the favor many times over.

Last week she gave 100 teddy bears to the New Brunswick Fire Department to hand out to children. Her father, William is a fire official in the city…“I thought if I could help a kid through a rough time it wouldn’t be so bad for them.”…Rebecca is trying to start a foundation that would raise money for teddy bears for grieving or distressed children.

Organist/Choir Director

Your help is needed!!!!

Please tell anyone and everyone you know that we are seeking a choir/director organist. Word of mouth is the way to get the word out.

The position requires a commitment of 10 - 12 hours a week; a passion for worship; the ability to play a pipe organ, keyboard and direct a choir.

Communion Cards

We’re doing better! Approximately 80% of our members are completing the communion cards correctly!! Thank you. This makes my job easier and makes the communion count more accurate.

PLEASE PRINT first and last names for each family member on one card. Please note: Parishioner #(s) means (for example) W002, C125 - not the number of people in your family receiving communion. If you don’t know your number, it is on your envelopes and on the address label of the Tidings.

Non-members/guests should complete a separate card and include their name, address and telephone number.
