Give & Go

In basketball give and go is a play.
You give the ball to another player and go to the hoop.
The ball is passed back to you and you score.

In church give and go is also a method of giving.
You give your offering to the church before you
go on vacation and you and your church scores.
You score because you have been a faithful steward.
We score because we are able to
meet our financial commitments.

Sept. 10th

Church Picnic

Our annual worship and picnic in Boro Park,
will begin at
10 a.m. on Sunday, August 10th.

If you brought a salad or dessert last year,
please do so again this year -

Remember to bring lawn chairs!

$60,000

This is the amount of money consistory borrowed from our endowment fund to pay in full the restoration work which was completed on the education building.

There IS still more restoration work which remains to do. However, this work will not begin until sometime next summer.

We will hold off starting this work to enable us to raise the money to pay back the endowment fund as well as raise the money to pay for the additional work.

YOUR continued financial support is a must even during this stoppage of work.

Without it, we won’t be able to continue the needed restoration work.

Thanks For All You Do!

Thanks! Thanks!

I just want to acknowledge several people for their support with the float in the 4th of July Parade.  First of all, Danny Holsten, Jr. for the wonderful and cooperative job of getting us a truck and cleaning and even painting part of it.  For the young men and women who carried our banners.  For the children who filled the float or walked behind.  For the adults who made the float complete or walked the long two miles.  For the extra effort of helping to decorate the float and best of all helping to dismantle the float .  Once again, the feeling of support that I received was one that was indicative of St. Paul’s.  I would like to thank Mrs. Herral for purchasing 80 lbs. of candy, Dawn for 15 lbs. and Laura for 10 lbs. (where did it all go?)  I would like to thank Main Street Travel for purchasing the banners and signs on the truck and for many of the decorations.  For Pete for purchasing the rest of the decorations and for the all his concerns.

Thanks again!

Letters…

Dear Members of St. Paul’s,

Thank you so much for your generous gift that the Scholarship Committee gave me towards my college education. It will help me to purchase books for the coming year. I appreciate the financial and spiritual support that St. Paul’s continues to give me. God has certainly blessed me with a wonderful congregation here at St. Paul’s.

Love,

Thank You!!

I am having a great summer serving Christ here at Warwick Conference Center. The Spirit of God is alive, touching the lives of the counselors and campers. I want to thank you for the scholarship which you gave to me. I will put it to great use in September when I am studying in Israel.

Yours in Christ,

Greg Weyer

Dear Pastor Rich,

We wanted all our family of friends at St. Paul’s to know our deepest appreciation for their prayers and concerns for us at this sad time. We want to especially thank Jack & Doris Weber for organizing the luncheon after George’s funeral.  The wonderful ladies who took part, Marge Conger, Flo Torok, Lorrie Reeves & Grace Novello - our heartfelt thank you.  God Bless you all.

We also want to thank all who gave a donation to the Jayson Maluta Fund.  George would have been so pleased.

Also at this time we would like to thank Rev. Annalee Lakey, who so kindly led our worship service for George.  She touched many hearts with her warm words.

Our hearts are heavy now at this time; but we know we have the promise we’ll meet him again in eternity.

Fondest regards,

Pat Maluta and children
.
