Confirmation Class

Classes will begin Wednesday, November 5^that 7:30 p.m.

Why so late? To allow the 9th graders an opportunity to adjust to High School.

Who should attend? Any youth in the 9th grade or higher with a parent; as well as mentors.

Confirmation Mentors Needed

Are you interested in helping a teenager grow in the disciplines of worship, prayer and Bible reading?

Are you willing to share 1-2 hours of your time a week to do this?

If you are, or want more info, speak to Pastor.

Why Have a Prayer Ministry?

Saying “Prayer is implied in everything we do” can be problematic.

Scripture seems to assume that God’s people pray.

Scripture describes prayer as a solid foundation for God’s people.

Prayer is a valuable resource for St. Paul’s. When people pray, things happen.

The first step in starting a prayer ministry is prayer. Please pray for God’s wisdom and direction, for God to give us a vision for our prayer ministry.

Restoration

The scaffolding still covers the front of our church building, and work continues on. If it seems nothing has been done over the past weeks, you are wrong. Molds have been made and the decorative water table stones are being cast.

As soon as they are complete, they will be installed along with the new brick and we will be well on the way to completing the restoration work.

Each calendar costs $6.00

Proceeds will go to the 2004 Senior Youth Group’s Mission Trip to Montana.
