Dear Pastor Rich,

I would like to thank you and the congregation for your continued financial support. Books are extremely overpriced and the scholarship really helps!

Dear Pastor Rich and My St. Paul’s Family,

I would like to thank you for awarding me a scholarship this year. I am entering my Junior year at Rutger’s University, Cook College. In the past two years, many things have changed. They’re even changing the name of my school! (To the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences, for those of you who are curious.) I have learned that it is comforting to hold onto the constants in life, because there are some things that change so quickly, especially in my school years. No matter where my life takes me in the next few years, I will always be proud of my St. Paul’s Family, and I hope that I always make you proud of me. You have all been a great support to me, and I would like to thank you again for your support not only financially, but more importantly spiritually.

Love,
Diana Malyshko

Dear Pastor Rich & St. Paul’s,

Thank you for your generous scholarship. This will help me with my first year books! Thank you for being so supportive throughout my high school years and during the college selection process.

I’ll keep in touch while I’m away. Keep sending me my slice.

With Love Always,
Nicole Fricke

Dear Pastor Rich and Emily,

“The 28 who sang like hundreds”.

How good it felt to sing the familiar hymns. For those of us who attended the 9:30 am Hymn Sing on Sunday, July 29, 2007, I am sure it made your heart feel full as it did mine. For those who missed it please be sure to make an effort to be in church next time. You will not be disappointed, and if you are, coffee will be on me after the service in the social hall.

As the first hymn was sang, I turned around and counted, there was 28 members in the pews, but their voices sounded like hundreds. I know our church has gone through many changes in the past years, and I feel we need to add familiar hymns to our service and eliminate some of the songs that we stumble through. In my opinion if we have trouble with the words we are not praising to our potential. I suggest that we consider having the service consist of the praise songs at the start of the service and 3 or 4 familiar and traditional “old fashioned” hymns during the service.

I now realize how much I missed and enjoy praising God by singing traditional hymns and I am sure there are others who feel the same.

Dear Pastor Rich & Members of St. Paul’s Church,

Once again, we wanted to thank you for the scholarship gifts. The money will be put to good use when we return to school in the fall!
