October is
“Pregnancy Loss Awareness Month”

and every year I organize and officiate at an Interfaith Memorial Service at St. Peter’s University Hospital for all those who have experienced a pregnancy loss, their friends, and families.

One of the most powerful times in this annual gathering is the creating of a “Memorial Quilt”, much like the AIDS Quilt, where families create a square to add to the larger quilt to memorialize the child they lost.

I am desperately seeking anyone with quilting experience to assist me in the final assembly of this quilt. You don’t necessarily need to be present at the service itself, just willing to help me before (in the planning) and after (in the actual assembly).

God created you in joy and for joy. Are you living that joy at home, at school, with your friends?

If you have a Frisbee make sure you bring it. Final Haunted House plans will be made.

October 20th - 10 a.m. - Set Up

October 21st - 7 p.m. Kooky & Fuzzy Ball & Stressed Out

Good Sex

A special two day Good Sex event for members of the Sr. Youth Group and their friends will be held on

Thursday and Friday, November 8th & 9th.

Each day will be filled with exciting interaction and conversation on cultural and Biblical messages about sex, intimacy, desire, boundaries and responsibility.

Confirmation

Confirmation Classes began Wed. Sept. 26th at 7:30 p.m. If you are a youth in the eighth grade or higher and desire to make your confession of faith in Jesus Christ its not to late. Contact Pastor Rich, NOW.

God’s Creation Calendar

Enjoy the beauty of God’s world every time you look at the

2002 God’s Creation Appointment Calendar.

This calendar is not only beautiful to look at, but useful in helping to plan and organize your schedule. This wall calendar has ample space to write your appointments. Each week has a selected Scripture verse for memorization or meditation.

The Sr. Youth Group will be selling these calendars at a cost of $6.00

Haunted House

A scary fun filled Halloween party and haunted house for all ages is planned for

Saturday, Oct. 20th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Games of chance are five games for $1.00.
Admission into the haunted house is $2.00
