God’s Creation Calendar

Enjoy the beauty of God’s world every time you look at the 2003 God’s Creation Appointment Calendar.  This calendar is not only beautiful to look at, but useful in helping to plan and organize your schedule.  Each day has ample space to write appointments or special events.  Each week has a specially selected Scripture verse for memorization or meditation.

You can purchase your calendar on Sundays at
coffee hour or the church office until supply runs out.

Libra

The constellations in the house of Libra are the Scales, the Southern Cross, the Victim, the Crown.

There is a gospel message in each constellation. Learn what that message is on Wednesday, October 30th at 7:30 p.m. in the Social Hall.

Blessed to Be a Blessing

Have you begun to look, REALLY look, at all the blessings God has given you?

Have you begun to look at the way St. Paul’s has blessed you?

What have you discovered?
  a new insight
  a person who cares
  a beacon of hope

Please write your personal statement of how this faith community has blessed your life and return it to the church so it can be included in our 130th Anniversary Book of Blessings. New members, and new generations will be able to read it and see how the hand of God has written His love in bold letters on our lives.

Proverbs

Wednesday’s at 1 p.m.

Wise living requires the ability to reach sound decisions and to make right choices.  Wise living requires the ability to discriminate between what is right and what is wrong, wholesome and damaging, important and unimportant, wise and foolish.

Wisdom weaves through the book of Proverb.  Come, learn God’s wisdom for living.

God is Like...

God is a little like General Electric
He lights your path.

God is a little like Bayer Aspirin
He works wonders.

God is a little like Hallmark Cards
He cared enough to send the very best.

God is a little like Tide
He gets out the stains that others leave behind.

God is a little like Alberto VO-5 Hair Spray
He holds through all kinds of weather.

He works wonders.

God is a little like Dial Soap
Aren't you glad you know Him?
Don't you wish everyone did?

God is a little like Sears
He has everything.

God is a little like Alka Seltzer
Oh, what a relief He is!

God is a little like Scotch Tape
You can't see Him but you know He's there!

God is a little like The Copper Top Battery
Nothing can outlast Him.

God is a little like American Express
Don't leave home without Him
