W omen’s Guild
We joined the Men’s Group for a supper meeting on Monday, September 8th. The food was delicious as usual, as prepared by Dot Madell. We had an interesting discussion led by Pastor Rich about 911 as to how this has impacted our lives and how we should go forward asking God’s guidance. August 10, the Women’s Guild conducted the service at the Parker Home. Donna, our President, wants to thank the following members for their participation: Phyllis Anderson, our Spiritual leader, led the devotions; attending were Marge Conger, Grace Novello, Lori Reeves, Bev Christenson, Alice Plantec, Hazel Ecker, Flo Torok and Ruth Karren. Our next regular meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Social Hall. Ruth C. Karren |

M artha Circle
Martha Circle met on September 15 with eleven members present. Arlene had devotions and she read poems and stories of friendship. Ruth, our leader, read two poems, “Church by the side of the road” and “The one I could not see”. We watched a video of Southern Country Churches which was very interesting. We also celebrated Flo and Phyllis’ birthdays. Our next meeting is October 20.Donna Young |
