days of Community
Over the course of the next 40 days we will wrestle with the question, ‘What
on earth are WE hear for?’
We kicked off our 40 Days with a barbeque and an exciting simulcast
where Rick Warren
author The Purpose
Driven Life
challenged us to thin outside of the box when it comes to fulfilling our
God given purposes.
On Sunday
I preached the first in a serious of sermons examining why it's
Better Together. The
focus of Sunday’s
message was Jesus’ words recorded in John
13:36
“By this all men
will know that you are my disciples,
if you love one another.”

Over 100 copies 40 of Community devotional workbooks were given out. If
you can’t wait to next week to pick up your copy you can pick up a copy
in the church office any day between the hours of 9am and 2 pm.
The Sunday school from ages 3 years old through 8th grade,
the confirmation class and the youth groups are studying all received
take home work sheets and/or daily devotionals as well.
This week several small groups for adults start up as well. If you
haven’t signed up for a small group, but would like to, here is the list
of groups and the phone numbers of the leaders. Give them a call.
