Sr. Youth Group Events

OCT. 6TH – Pride in Milltown Day

9AM – 3PM We will be selling soda, calendars and chances for a 50/50 to raise funds for our mission trip.

OCT. 7TH – Lock-In – 7PM meet @ the church. Activities include: Capture the Flag, 4 on a Couch; the Movie: Gracie Brown – a fifteen year-old girl who’s determined to play on the boy’s varsity soccer team after her older brother’s death. But when her school forbids her to play and even her family questions her ability, Gracie sets out to prove them all wrong. Fighting to change school policy and facing off against some of the toughest competitors on the field, Gracie must summon the courage to finally show everyone that a girl with a dream can do absolutely anything!

OCT. 21ST – 7pm – 9pm
Theme: HOW TO BRING IT UP WITHOUT THROWING UP.

HAVE YOU REGISTERED?

There are a handful of openings for 7th – 12th graders to attend this exciting National Youth Conference. The dates are November 2nd & 3rd. The place is Washington DC. The cost is $50. The theme is SURVIVE. The focus is helping youth survive the turbulence of associated with teenage years, by holding fast to their faith in Jesus Christ.

2008 CREATION CALENDARS

The Senior Youth Group will be having its annual creation calendar fund raiser. All profits will go to their 2008 Mission Trip.

Each month has a beautiful picture of God’s awesome creation with weekly scripture verses. You can buy yours and one for a friend at coffee hour. They are also available in the church office.

Rummage Sale Items

The Sr. Youth Group will be having a rummage sale on Friday and Saturday, November 9th and 10th.

Items for the rummage sale can be dropped off at the scout room in the education build starting Sunday, October 14th. PLEASE NOT BEFORE!

Donations of furniture, household items, clothing, linens, kitchen ware, small appliances. All are welcomed.

PLEASE NO BROKEN OR TORN ITEMS. THANK YOU.

300 Club

The Sr. Youth Group will be holding a 300 club calendar raffle. The first drawing was Sunday, September 23rd and the grand prize drawing will be December 16th. The prizes for the first 12 weeks are $75, $50, $25, & $10. The prizes for the December 16th drawing are $500, $250, $150, $100 & $80.
300 NUMBERS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR $20 EACH. Your number will be in each week’s drawing. All proceeds will benefit the Senior Youth Group Mission Trip to Denver, Colorado in 2008.
