Our Church’s Wider Mission

s healing and teaching, worshipping and seeking justice, saving lives, restoring hope, showing the light and love of God. Each United Church of Christ congregation is invited to financially support Our Church’s Wider Mission.

St. Paul’s participates in Our Church’s Wider Mission, by sending every dollar which you designate for benevolence on the weekly offering envelopes.

We do this because:

We are a part of the United Church of Christ, called to do God’s mission;

We believe it is important that we be a part of our denominations effort to touch lives around the world in the name of Jesus Christ;

We believe it is our commission to show the light and love of God, be it in Cairo, Africa, Native American Tribal territory in South Dakota, the Inner City of New York, or testifying before legislators.
