Jr. Youth Group
The Jr. Youth Group enjoyed a September Pizza Party along with their parents as a kick-off to the new season. Thanks to the many parents who volunteered their time and services. On September 29, we made Christmas cards for the troops in Afghanistan, as well as donated various items to be sent over to the troops. Student Pastor Emilia joined our meeting and discussed “Our Words”. The kids enjoyed a fun game with Silly String and discussed the scripture”. They ended their meeting with a scripture hide ‘n seek rock game, as well as a bruising game discussing “hurt - is it always easy to see that someone is hurting?” Thanks to Student Pastor Emilia for sharing and praying with us and thanks to the Jones family for a yummy meal! On October 13, we visited the Parker Home where we sang for the residents, prayed with them, and handed out beautiful, hand-made Autumn leaf cards for the residents to hang in their rooms. On October 20, we will be walking in the CROP Walk.

During a Junior Sermon I asked the children
to answer this question and send me their answers. Here are two
responses: Is it any wonder that Jesus loved children? |
