Men of St. Paul’s

There were 13 men present at the November meeting. A word of prayer and thanks were offered by Ken Junker, (welcome back Ken). We enjoyed a wonderful turkey dinner expertly prepared by Dot Madell. Thanks Dot.

After dinner, Greg Henninger once again took the reigns and led the business meeting.  (Oh Dennis and Jed - where are thou).  Proceeds from the roast pork dinner totaled $1739.00. Motions were made, seconded and approved to authorize Greg to purchase two gas grills, two fifteen gallon pots, and a large coffee thermos. These will be used for the church picnic, the roast beef and roast pork dinners, and other functions upon request.

Pastor Rich suggested that we contact the new members.  It was decided that we will send them each an invitation, followed by a personal phone call to invite them to the December meeting.  Rich then volunteered to set up a schedule of events for monthly meetings of the men’s group, which may not necessarily be on Monday evenings.  Hold on to your hats gentlemen!!  I’ve seen the first revision already and it looks terrific with lots of interesting and exciting events.

The next meeting will be on December 3rd at 6:30 p.m.. After dinner we will help the youth group prepare the wreaths for their upcoming fund raiser.

Respectfully submitted,
Jack Perry
