Make it a Christmas to Remember

Reduced expenses and increased faithful stewardship has shrunk our budget deficit from $36,460 through the 1st ten months last year to $11,818 through the 1st ten months this year.

We have a GREAT opportunity to balance our expense and income this year provided we continue with excellent faithful stewardship.

An Appropriate Christmas  Gift

Every Christmas we are challenged by the same questions. What should I buy so and so? How much should I spend? Is this too much or too little?

The average American family is expected to spend $1,200. on Christmas gifts this year.

How much are you willing to spend on a Christmas gift for Jesus?

The Bible states that an appropriate gift is a tithe, which is 10%. I am suggesting that this year your Christmas offering be a Christmas tithe. A Christmas tithe is 10% of the total cost of all the Christmas gifts you bought.

Example: if you spend the $1,200 the average family is expected to spend your Christmas tithe would be $120. Whatever your Christmas offering is remember, as a friend of mine wrote, “Nothing we do or give can ever repay God for the gift of life but that should never stop us from responding.”

 Miniature Golf 2007

The Youth Group will host its second miniature golf weekend on March 30th, 31st and April 1st.

We are seeking sponsors ranging in level of $100, $250, $500, and $1,000.

Benefits the Mission Trip 2007 to Bluefield, WV.
